Repairing a Roofing Error

We came out to inspect a property for Mold and found that the metal roofing panels had been installed improperly without a substrate. This was allowing condensation to build up on the panels and water damage issues in the bedroom space below. After consulting with the client on a few approaches to the work, we decided to utilize our product to eliminate the mold growth that had occurred. To prevent this issue from reoccurring, we had to repair the roof. We opted to "surgically" remove the panels 1 or 2 at a time. Carefully handle and stack panels and associated parts for reuse. Remove the existing lathes that are installed on the rafters. Install 1/2" or 7/16" osb on top of existing rafters. Install roofing vapor barrier to new roof sheathing. Reinstall original roof panels and associated parts in the proper fashion to prohibit rain snow and ice leakage and to look as it did before repairs.
